Father's Day

Father's Day in Florida. What could be better than that? I think this is the first time ever that I was able to celebrate Father's Day with both the father of my kids and my own dad. Perfect.

We celebrated the day by opening up a new "cafe" called The Red Bean. Strange what names are chosen when asking a 5 year old to decide! Red for both Red Robin and Red Lobster (Ella's 2 favorite restaurants) and Bean cause that is her name. And it is her cafe.

So, she made a little menu and asked her guests what they would like for breakfast. I was lucky enough to be the chef. It was great fun! We cooked up some nice food for Meme and Poppers and then we greeted Dad with the same options. He was able to eat his breakfast pool side. This was all completely unplanned but worked out great and everyone had a wonderful time.

Those kids sure love their Daddy. Look at those kisses! So sweet.

After a relaxing day by the pool we headed out to Red Lobster for dinner. Everything was perfect.  The kids presented their cards to Dad and Poppers and we headed back home. More swimming anyone???
