We decided to head back to Sea World for a second day. If you go back within 7 days from the first day then you can get in for free. Not a bad thing when you don't plan to spend an entire day somewhere. Since it was going to be just my kids this time we thought we might be able to do a few more of the kids activities. Unfortunately Ella was not feeling well that day. I'm still not entirely sure what was wrong. She had a small fever and her nose was burning - sounds like the start of a cold right? Well she also had an upset stomach and I later discovered that she was constipated. Poor thing. Once we got home and she was able to go (a few hours later), she was immediately well. No fever, nose didn't hurt and she never did end up getting a cold. Very odd.
We did the best to enjoy that trip but she was just not that into it. Elijah rode the spinning boat ride that Ella rode the time before and he loved it! Then we all rode the kids Shamu roller coaster. It was fun for the 2.7 seconds you were on it! And the last second Elijah hit his head when it whipped around a corner so he spent the end of the ride crying. It was time to go home!
We also took another trip to Dinosaur World. The kids absolutely love going there. Strange because neither of my kids ever show any interest in dinosaurs - and this park has absolutely no bells and whistles. The best part I think is the large sand box where they dig for bones. Evidently I took no pictures while we were there so you'll just have to trust me ;)
We always enjoy hanging out in the "desert" playing in the rocks.
