The Cordova Independence Day Parade was another hit again this year. We didn't stay as long as usual due to the extremely high temperatures and the fact that Kyle was home with food poisoning. Yuck.
We made it a few minutes before the parade started. The kids got a bagful each of candy as the floats, trucks, and cars went by. It was cute to see the kids riding their bikes and then the parade ended with tons of horses.
After the parade was over we did go back and get Ella's face painted. Elijah has a very intense aversion to face paint so he opted not to have his done.
A friend of Ella's road her bike in the parade so after enjoying a nice cold popsicle we visited with them and then headed home.
Yay for air conditioning!!!
