This year we co-hosted a Valentine's Day Party for our Faith Keepers group with another mom. It was held at our house and the kids had a great time (as usual).
When they first arrived they all had to change into their party attire.
I got these hearts at Hobby Lobby, basically you scratch a picture into them with a wooden "pencil". They had fun making these and then hanging them to decorate for the party.
Teresa (my co-host) made a ton of treats for the kids. She made these heart shaped cakes for each child to decorate their own.
Enjoying their tasty treats.
Elijah decided to join in on this part!
Then they had a great time making jewelry for each other. We tried to focus on friendship and what we mean to each other. I don't have any pictures but they also made little albums with stickers and had each friend write something nice in their book. Something to keep forever :)
We also played a nice round of musical chairs.
They absolutely loved this!!!
The party was a blast and everything worked out perfectly. We were missing 2 of our girls and wish they could have attended. All 5 girls get along so well.
