When Elijah was born, the hospital gave us two small children's Bibles. One for Ella and one for Elijah. Ella felt so special about this and made sure everyone she came in contact with knew about her new Bible!
I am happy to say that now that Elijah is older, he feels the same way. He carries around his Bible in the little box, along with a picture of himself as a baby and a picture of his new baby cousin, Spencer. He loves to thumb threw each page and will tell you, "Just one picture." (In the front a picture of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.)
Although this is cute in and of it's self, what he says when he is reading his Bible is absolutely adorable.
Me~ "Hey Buddy, what are you doing?"
Elijah~ "Oh, just reading my Bible."
Short pause...
Elijah~ "It tells me so."
